Fact: Current world population figures have topped 8 billion people. Broken down 20% living in Western world countries and the remaining 80% of developing countries speaks for itself. 25% of the world's population being children & 10% older people.
Figures suggest 800 million+ children lack the most basic resources; access to clean drinking water access, food, medicines & education!
Purpose: Education contains the potential for building up sustainable communities not just in Africa. To succeed suitable locations, require the vision to improve and address educational need. If so, together the package and local vision can enable transformations through growth & sustainability.
Sponsorship for shipping, equipment & training remains key to making the impossible, possible. As we experienced in Zimbabwe, Kenya & Uganda providing benefits for over 100,000 children!

History:
Born in Africa. Zimbabwe to be precise ASOL has grown worldwide. A random enquiry from Stephen Ibbs of Data Developments in Wolverhampton.
"My father used to be a teacher in Zimbabwe could you supply computers for the three schools he taught"... From this beginning "African schools on line" was born and developed into an innovative educational program..., much more than sending our old computers to faraway places.

From this scenario CfC developed a grass roots model, proven to be highly successful.

Funding / Sponsorship The Cost!
Pre-Recession provided amazing support from British Airways, Air Zimbabwe, Kenyan Airways, Data Developments, British Council, British High Commission.
Experience shows shipping, as opposed to local purchase is preferable for setup.
- Sea Freight enables a minimum of 20 centres to be established on a regional basis from one 20' container.
- Air Freight is often the only option. But expensive and limits quantity
Fund Raising is one of many ways to help us; Including tax benefits of gift aiding or Corporate gift aid, which do make a difference.
Alternatively give your skills & time. i.e. Vincent and Hilary from Southern Ireland were seconded by Intel for 6 months to install equipment across 20 schools, whilst undertaking training and audit in Western Kenya
